So in my many discussions with Mark, we have had many great phrases come across. So as of last Wednesday Mark asked me to go the the Peaks with him this Friday. I sort of knew that it was a date but still a little unsure since the last time that we hung out, apparently he said that it was a date. So at work today mine and his friend Ashley asked me if I knew that it was a date. I said no but that I just assumed. So long story cut short, Ashley told her boyfriend (also a good friend of Marks who they talk about almost everything but girls)that Mark needs to let me know when he is asking me out on dates because I don't know. So this is what Mark popped up with after about 20 minutes later.

Mark says:
Oh, and I realized/had it pointed out to me that I never actually mentioned the word date for Friday's activities. I am rather abashed by my lack of tact, so I will try this again:
Steph, would you like to go on a date with me this Friday to Seven Peaks?

I found this funny and I loved the word choice of abashed.
